Title: Re: Transport Post by brewcrew on Apr 17th, 2006, 7:39pm I live in Milwaukee and am planning on taking Thursday and Friday off so as to help provide transport to and from the airport. But if you're coming in on the 11th, you might want to contact the hotel and ask them to pick you up with their shuttle. |

Title: Re: Transport Post by Svenn on Apr 18th, 2006, 6:41am we are expecting to arrive on July 11 15:35 at the airport Anyone that can meet us? Flying trough Detroit from Amsterdam Svenn |

Title: Re: Transport Post by alienspacebabe on Apr 19th, 2006, 11:11pm I'll be handling the coordination of airport pickups. It would be helpful to have all of your flight numbers/airline names so we can check to see if your flight is on time or late (or even, possibly, early). You can IM them to me, or email them, or post them here. I'll keep track and make sure everyone has a ride from the airport to the hotel. |
||
Title: Re: Transport Post by Linda_Howell on Apr 21st, 2006, 6:12pm O.K. Liz, United Airlines, flight 6775 Arrives at 5:25 Give me a half hour from that time, because I don't expect you to come into the terminal. I'll be outside having my 1st cigarette after 9 or 10 hours and you can just slow the car down to 15 or 20 mph....and I'll jump in. ;) Linda |
||
Title: Re: Transport Post by brewcrew on Apr 21st, 2006, 6:58pm Linda - You should probably state which day you're arriving. Otherwise, have a couple extra packs of smokes in your purse in case you have to wait an extra 24 hours. ;;D |

Looks like I passed the test. ;) I have volunteered my driving prowess and have taken off work Thursday and Friday to help get folks to the hotel. Although I may have to take out a home equity loan to buy a couple of tanks of gas by that time. Good God! alienspacebabe is coordinating all the rides, so I will go where and when she tells me to. |

Title: Re: Transport Post by blossom on Apr 23rd, 2006, 4:51pm Arriving Thursday the 13th on American Eagle flight 3973 9:43 am. We are renting a car. Jonny- if you want to hang out and wait for about an hour we will take you with us to the hotel. I will be driving so my suggestion to you would be to practice your grip so you can hold on tightly to the oh-shit bar when I take corners! :) Chris has gotten really good at it! ;;D I volunteer for pick ups if an extra vehicle is needed. Don't see the point of making anyone pay for a cab. Karen |
