Hello everyone!!!

The convention will be here before you know it and everyone's favorite OUCH auction will take place there.

As in every year we are asking for donations of items to be auctioned off and given as door prizes.

Past items have included photography, paintings, handcrafted checkerboard and  picture frames, cheese, maple syrup, chocolate, engraved lighters, USA Hockey Jersey, hot and cold packs, drawings, books, computer programs, fancy lotions and soaps, candles, gift certificates, CD's and DVD's...and literally crates more!!!!

If you need to ship items, Lizzie(alienspacebabe) will be collecting them. I will give you the address.

I will be donating one bottle of Maple Syrup.

If you would like to donate an item post it here! :D

I have 10 packages of oxygen tubing that are 25ft each for those who have to pace when they use 02.

They are a lovely purple color :)

Funnily enough this is something I've been thinking alot about! I shall be starting shopping for bit's and bob's to bring any day now so any suggestions would be welcomed! (Nani I have a box of Twirls down already! LOL not to mention three kids and a farting cat to get rid of.....)

For the Cheese lovers amoungst us, I'll of course be bringing WI Famous Aged Super sharp Cheddar again, 2 2.5 lb. blocks.  This year however, I've been able to stumble upon some that is even older than last years.  

Special edition 6 year old instead of 4 year old super sharp!  This stuff is selling fast at the factory so I'll have to get there this afternoon to ensure I have it for the auction.

Jonny better bring plenty cash for this one...Rori can you start the bidding higher than last year? [smiley=laugh.gif]

Best I can do is create the biggest shiny to date, the ones I mail out take from 2-4 hours to make, this one will take me at least 8 hours.

I will even make it out of brass instead of stainless steel and have a clear lacquer coating professionally applied, so it will never have to be poslished to keep the shine.

Is that ok?

I will be bringing the model I did "BEAST HUNTER" plus also have about 10-15 other items to donate(diecast cars,sports cards (some autographed),a few hats,a yahoo digital camera(still in package),and other things I am finding in my basement room of collectibles. It seams if there is a lot of stuff auction might take a long time or are you going to take most of the stuff and do a raffle and auction off say the 25-35 biggest items ? just curiuos Terry
P.S. I would like to ship out the items I collect in the next two months so I will have just the model I am doing to bring with me cause its fragile so if you could send me an address to ship items I would thank you very much Terry(the builder)

Hi folks,

Can someone give me an address?

The brass shiny is at pro clear coat in Boston getting its final coating, so that it will never tarnish. Theres no way it will fit in my carry on so I need to ship it to someone out there. I will wrap the hell out of it with soft polishing cloths and box it up for the trip there ;;D

Paul  (Vig)  has kindly consented to donate one of his famous and beautiful photographs that he shares with us on the MB.  He is sending it to me and I will put it in a nice silver frame and bring it with to the convention to be auctioned off.  It would look beautiful hanging on a wall right in back of Jonny's shiny sitting on a table surrounded by Blossoms wine and cheese.   ;;D

Hi everyone well so far I have collected 49 items for convention and thats just from my house. Still got to get stuff from my dad,little brother,both sisters and the local busness. I am on a roll so by end of this week or next I will be sending out the box well I think it be 2 or 3 boxes. Terry the collector lol

Being lifelong Wisconsin residents, my wife and I always try to give our business to locals first, and Wollersheim is at the top of our list. Some really fine Cabernets, and we both enjoy their Prairie Fume immensely.

Hi all Terry in DavCon Iowa I promise this coming week to ship the 64 items I have collected to the address I was given I will ship UPS. Plus I am currently working on an idea for DJ and his wifey. I will try to finish it and ship it also this coming week.If not it will arrive before the convention I promise.  I am sorry to regret that I will not be able to make it to the convention. My wifey went to swin with the dophins with her mom and members of her family. And wifey and I are remodeling the living room,kitchen, and what ever else she has planned for me :>( I do not belive I will get my model done "BEAST HUNTER" in time for the auction at convention, & I wouldnt be able to ship it any way because I would not like it damaged so maybe when done I can auction it off somehow and am donating everything it makes to OUCH. enjoy the convention all that can make it.
