one of the worst things about being chronic (beside the pain) is the fact you seem to withdrawl from any kind of social life. would like to meet and correspond w/ people who understand what i'm going thru.. NORMAL people just don't understand. sometimes they act like their embarrassed to be around you (affraid you'll have one of those WEIRD attacks again). :-[

we are up for it too, we live in Bradenton Fla., would love to get together some time soon, we feel like you all, no one wants to get together for fear of him having one!! So we stay to ourself most of the time, besides Family, & they really don't understand.. keep telling us we need to find a better dr. who has answers to fix this !! we let us know.

About three years ago, a gang of us met in my neck of the woods (actually two years in a row) and at that time organized a real chapter. I filed the papers and we are official......except that the new bylaws for OUCH are being rewritten and we have to wait for that to get done.

Are any of you interested in belonging to a Florida Chapter?

Informal get-togethers are great too if you're not interested in the chapter thing.

When and where do you want to meet?

Hi I'm fairly new to the site but not to the clusters. I'd be willing to try to make a meeting. I know what you mean about staying out of social situations. The dance doesn't look as good from the outside as the electric slide.

Oops sorry - episodic but the cycle I'm in now won't quit shadows keep coming at night sometimes more than shadows. Episode seems to have ended three weeks ago (10 attacks a day) but the shadows won't quit. Hope I'm not becoming cronic [smiley=huh.gif] I would love to attend!
