Title: Re: Going to the Neuro on monday what should I ask Post by vig on Oct 26th, 2005, 3:27pm Hey Smiley! Most people start with Verapamil. It has low side effects mixed with being pretty effective. It's a good place to start. My opinion is to avoid Prednisone, if possible. |

Ive been taking Verapamil and Lithium everyday for about 13/14 years....It was a godsend for all those chronic years....Ive been PF for awhile, first time in 30 years....What a ride!!....LMAO ;;D Feel your Doc out, ask what he thinks you should try.....you can always bounce that off the folks here to see if what he recommends has worked for them. Good luck, Dude!! |

Title: Re: Going to the Neuro on monday what should I ask Post by E-Double on Oct 26th, 2005, 6:52pm This is a great resource to know like the back of your hand...print it out and give it to the doc http://www.brightok.net/~mnjday/chtherapy.pdf It will present the appropriate treatments that you should seek and your doctor should know!!! If you want an abortive with the least amount of side-effects O2 should not only be requested but demanded from your doctor!!! http://www.maplefallswebdesign.com/misc/oxygen/oxygen.htm I have recently been using Zyprexa as an abortive and have found it to work (for me) as fast as Imitrex and without the "hangover" Good luck |
