Title: Online Perscriptions?
Post by StressFree on Aug 4th, 2005, 1:55pm
I know self medication and treating clusters with pain relievers is very controversial. I am curious though, does anyone know if there are legitimate online perscription sources. Or do they hit your credit card and you get nothing for it? I was tempted to try this in the past, but concern for getting ripped off or in trouble for circumventing a regular doctor worried me. Any input regarding this would be appreciated! Rich

Drugstore.com is a legitimate pharmacy. They require prescriptions from real doctors. I surely would not recommend self treatment with prescription drugs, anyway. Nor would I recommend using traditional "pain" meds for CH.
Have you looked at kudzu, clusterbusters and LSA?

Never got around to trying Kudzo or the Seeds. I've been episodic with long breaks, thank the Lord! Verap and Pred combo seem to have worked again this round. I was mainly looking for ammo for next time. Also - as clusterheads, I'm sure most of us know what meds we need better than our family docs. Others may find legitimate web based perscriptions usefull too. Thanks for the link! Rich

I've been using LePharmacy.com in Canada for 3-years with good results. Service is good and they are ethical. The biggest problem is building a delay into your ordering time--but this is because of your shipment has to go through two post office systems.

I've used XLpharmacy.com for trex tablets (so far, that's the only scrip med I will take for this s**t).  I went to them because they sell you the generic Sumatriptan, and is is sooooo much cheaper than buying in the US (24 50mg pills for $88.00, including shipping).  I couldn't tell you where exactly this pharmacy is located, but I can tell you that my Sumatriptan was mailed from India and it works for me just as well as Imitrex brand name.  You'll need at least a week to 10 days lead time for the shipping.  They have taken my credit card and have never abused it.  I've looked at their web and they also have Verap and Pred, but I don't know in what strengths.  They never asked me for my doctor's prescription either.  ??
