Title: LSA questions (specifically BHWR)
Post by Tiannia on May 16th, 2005, 12:53pm
OK guys - I dont have the time to read through everything and be able to pick out what I want to know.  Some of you guys understand all of this so much better then I do.  So please help me out.

1. Will this show up on drug tests?  My work is VERY strick on this (hell many in Vegas are) but even my codene for my back showed up when I was hired and I had to show them my script bottles.

2. I have not seen any consistant answer on how many to take.  Some people seem to dose with 3-4 other take many many more then that.

3. Will this be continual treatment for a chronic?  And how often do you think you would need to dose if it is?

4. What are side effects?  Never taken anything other then prescribed meds so a little worried about this.

5. What is time frame for "trip" effects to wear off?  I drive every day for my owrk and I have 2 kids to take care of. I can not be down for any submstantial leangth of time for these 2 factors I have to be able to completly function.

I am sure that I will think of others?  But any help at this point is greatly appreciated.

It seems very unlikely. LSA is not tested for in any drug test currently. Check this out: http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsa/lsa_testing.shtml

www.clusterbusters.com......some important stuff in there you should read. Some things on LSA too I think. I thought I had read it in there..must have been somewhere else, if I can find it again, I'll post it.

On the seeds, start low and work your way up. Others can provide input on this, as I have only done mushrooms

A babysitter to assign all of your responsiblities to, including kids, phones, etc (more in clusterbusters). I usually dose on Friday or Saturday nights. Probably not a good idea to try during the work week, particularly on your first try.

I am sure others will be by soon for some of your specific ?'s.

Thanks Steco and Jesse.  Clusterbusters does have a lot of info on Shrooms and LSD, but I dont know how much of that info transfers to LSA.  Sorry to just be very niave about it, but I want to feel confortable with it.

Tia,

For question # 2 - It was recommended to me to take 2 or 3 seeds. I took 4. I did not experience any trip effects or visuals. I did experience sleepiness within 2 hours of consuming the extract and seeds and slept well about 4 hours after consumption. I also experienced gas and very very minor abdominal cramps. The gas and cramps may have been because I did not remove the seed meat from the seed covering.

That was my experience. I am also experiencing complete painfree time, meaning no twinges, no shadows, and no headaches since I took the seeds last Friday.

I hope this helps and I'm glad I tried it.

Sincerely,
Bob

T, as JJA said, most companies are not purposely testing for this in your urine.  I started on 2 seeds, and dosed on 3 the second dose which was about 3 weeks ago.  Work yourself up slowly, but for most 3-4 seeds seems to do the trick.  I think most of us wait to see a sign of the beast coming back before they redose.  I really don’t know about anyone on seed “maintenance” dosing, so hopefully we’ll hear from them.  No side effects for me.  I experienced no nausea or dizziness or anxiety during the dosing.  The whole “trip” was about 6-7 hours for me but it wasn’t per se a “trip” either.  I just felt really relaxed and clear minded.  I basically just went about my business during that time.  I did not drive either time.  Both times I dosed in the early afternoon and just hung around the house, also so I could be near the 02 if I needed it.  The first time I dosed I got hit with a level 8 headaches and nothing since.  I did shadow for 2 days after.  The second time I dosed, I experienced no hits or shadowing and have been that way since.

I hope it stays that way, too! :)

Hi Tiannia. I found that at 3-4 seeds I did not hit any trip level but within 2 days of the first dosing all hits and shadows were gone. I have a 12 year old whom I home school and I was able to drive and do all of my scheduled chores (and then some) because it took away alot of the pain I was in at the time. I was able to think more clearly and my wife said that she noticed that my behavior was more like a "pain free normal person". I was able to go play basketball with my son in the middle of the dose ;;D. If you grind it up with the outer shell I would recommend soaking the powder in water for a couple of hours and then straining through a coffee filter, mix with a little juice and you're good to go. A little bit of gas could be present, but in my case it was not bad at all. If you cut the seed open and scrape out the lighter colored inside it is not necessary to strain it through a coffee filter and there is not much of a taste to it. My wife is a Human Resources Manager and as far as she knows they do not test for HBWR. It is also my understanding that a small dose will not stay in the system very long. No dilated pupils at 3-4 seeds either. I redose every 2 weeks for now but I take NO other medicines. I hope to go at least a month before my next dose...maybe longer.
Regards, Joe

This is what the Clusterbuster's FAQ says about verapamil and lithium...

"We have received reports of clusterheads achieving complete success with psilocybin while taking verapamil. I have also seen reports from chronics whose only medication at the time of their psilocybin trials was verapamil, who failed to get any significant relief. Was this lack of success due to interaction with verapamil? I don't know. I am open to argument on this one."

"It has been reported by several "recreational" users of psilocybin and LSD that Lithium will roughly double the psychoactive effects of a given dose of psilocybin (or LSD). It is unclear whether it will also double the CH-fighting properties, but we have one report from a clusterhead who deliberately took some Lithium immediately before ingesting mushrooms and had a much more intense experience for a few hours than he had bargained for. In his case, the psilocybin also killed the headaches, but it is probable that he would have achieved the same relief with less stress. Lithium can also have the opposite effect. It may depend on how long you have been using it. Please refer to the warning page."

"Warning/Caution

Who should seriously consider not taking mushrooms or LSD to treat their cluster headaches?

People taking lithium, whether it is for preventing cluster headaches or for some other reason (it is often prescribed for people with bipolar affective disorder - see below for more on bipolar disorder). Anecdotal reports suggest that lithium can greatly potentiate the effects of LSD or mushrooms, and that it can produce very unpleasant feelings, and an examination of a number of reports suggested that lithium can either increase or decrease effects. This combination may even produce episodes that sound like, and that perhaps are, epileptic seizures. If people are taking lithium for treating cluster headaches and it is not working, they may want to talk with their doctor about not taking it any more before trying mushrooms or LSD. If people are taking lithium for bipolar affective disorder, they probably should continue taking lithium, and they should avoid taking mushrooms or LSD for cluster headaches."
