Title: Myofascial info
Post by cleon on May 12th, 2005, 11:31pm
I recently posted that these injections have helped me sooo much.  I have had needles into these muscles:
Cervical muscles  Upper trapezius  Sternocleidomastoid muscle  Splenii Semispinales Capitis, Semispinales cervicis  Suboccipital  Masseter Temporalis Lateral pterygoid  Medial pterygoid   -
painful, but no worse than those CH's!  For those who are interested, check out these sites.
My therapist says that to her it is obvious that CH sufferers suffer from 'everything at once" including  trigeminal pain, Tmd, etc etc.  Im sure when you read these sites, you can see why the muscles can cause a big percentage of 'our' CH's.
One example - One session of needles into the side of the neck stopped the red hot ice pick jabbing me in the ear during an attack.  The 'other ice picks' were still going, but I got rid of the one in my ear.
