Title: Strange cycle Post by slacker032 on Apr 20th, 2005, 5:02am The beast switched sides on me (normally get hit on my left side) but that isn't the strange part. I'm still shadowing on my left side, then getting full on attacks on my right side. Has anyone ever experienced this? Used the Clusterbuster treatment on 4/12 but still got hit everyday during the mid-afternoons while at work. Took another dose yesterday but I still got hit with a KIP 9 while at school today. Going to wait a few days but I'm not sure whether I'm going to go the Clusterbuster route again or try Kudzu. |

Title: Re: Strange cycle Post by nani on Apr 20th, 2005, 9:47am The beast has been known to switch sides. It happened to me once when my sinus was infected and inflamed on the "other" side. I hope the alternative helps. If you decide to try kudzu....be sure to fully inform yourself. Read ALL the threads, and pay special attention to drug interactions and possible side effects. Good luck and pain free wishes to you, nani |

Title: Re: Strange cycle Post by tommyD on Apr 21st, 2005, 6:10am Slacker - Mine switched sides last year, from the left to the right. At first the beast acted confused with shadows coming on right or left, before finally settling in the right. And the shadows would start on either side, and at one point were “rotating” around my face, starting on the right temple, moving down across the jaw, up the other side and across the forehead .... round and round about twice a day. One an attck switched back to the left, hung around as a Kip 4, then slid across my forehead (a very odd sensation) to the left and went up to Kip 5 for a few minutes, then disappeared. Got tired of that nonsense and shroomed the beast and kept him away for three months. Now the shadows and minor hits are starting to re-appear. Get a slight shadow on the left, but it quickly slides across to the right, where it may or may not build to a 45-min. Kip 3 or 4. Had a couple of those this week, so planning a treatment soon. Thanks for your report on trying the clusterbuster method. I’m wondering if you can provide more details on the attempt. The ClusterBusters track these reports an we are much more interested in the attempts that don’t seem to work...they tell us as much or more about the treatment than the reports of success. If you’re willing. please fill us in on the details on the board or privately: your history with CH, meds you might have been taking before, during and after dosing with CB; increase, decrease or disruption of the usual pattern after dosing, whether and how much hallucinogenic effect you experienced, etc. Someone may have a suggestion for you on how to make the treatment work, or you might be one of those few for whom the CB method just doesn’t work. Hoping you’ll get pain free, whatever happens. -tommyD |

Title: Re: Strange cycle Post by SteCo on Apr 21st, 2005, 2:27pm Slacker, I usually find myself already into cycle, before I can round up some fungi. Never again. I will be prepared next time. A Post dose hit or two are not unusual. Mine are usually 2 days after, but have happened the day after and 3 days after. After the post dose hit (usually one good one), I have come to expect many PF days. Almost like clockwork. Just as a check: Be sure you are 100% med free for about a week to give the alternative a good fighting chance. Alot of meds block the effectiveness of the fungi. Watch your diet immediately prior to dosing as well. Use the tea and best used with an empty stomach. IMHO from a recent "experiment" I did (long story), I believe dairy products, in particular, prohibit the effects too. This cycle I did have some shadows switching sides for awhile, never had that happen before. But it settled in my usual side (my right) Good Luck and wishing you the best with whatever you decide.....just be sure to check the checks above for optimimum fungi therapy!! SteCo |
