Hi all,

This might sound like a stupid question but do I take the shot when my head is screaming or before when my neck is locking up and I know I am going to get an attack?

Hi Marta,

If you wait until your head is screaming it will probably be too late. When you get to the point of starting to "dance", but still have enough control to stick it, is about the right time.

Did you try the Kudzu that seems to help CH'ers at a fairly decent success percentage ? If you go that route, I believe you can't do both Kudzu & Trex or it won't work.

Marta,
I just got imigran shots too. I haven't needed one yet, though. The pack says that you can take the shot anytime, but it's the most effective in the beginning of the ch.

Don't know about you, but taking a shot... [smiley=eek.gif] is scary to me.

Hi marta :D

Iv been given imi injections. It took a few weeks to be able to get use to them, getting other ppl to give me them while I look away. Then one day I had the most terrible pain behind my eye, I thought my eye was going to come out of its socket! So I just got my imi pinched my tummy, pressed eject and couldnt believe how silly I was as I couldnt feel a thing. I normally take mine mins after my temple starts throbing or when I get stabbing behind my eye. Good luck!
