Title: disalcid
Post by sundancer on Mar 12th, 2005, 2:33pm
It's my 30th yr of ep. CH, prednisone is the drug of choice, but can no longer tolerate it.  The good Dr. prescribed 2 things I've never tried, neurontin 100 mg. 3 times pd, and disalcid 750 mg 3 times pd.  The neurontin, I know is commonly used for CH but has anyone tried disalcid?

Hi sundancer (what a nice handle) I just googled it and it appears to be a salicylate. Like aspirin, it's used to thin the blood. I am a Neurontin user, and have just reduced my usage to 300mgs a day. Down from 1800mgs a day. I have been able to do so because of success I'm having with kudzu. Please look here on the medications board for a few threads about it. I think it's worth looking into. Pain free wishes, nani
