Post by woodman_35 on Mar 8th, 2005, 9:39pm
i have had ch for about 20 yrs and recently i discovered something that seems to help me. what i do is fill the bath tub up with hot water  and lay flat on my back with only my nose and mouth above water. i stay still and in about 15 mins the pain is bearable not gone but almost though. thought you all might want to try it. thank you all for being here and letting me know im not alone and not crazy.    Ron

Works a lot of times for me as well Ron... course I'm using the Trex when necessary now as well.  Usually the heat followed by cool or cold works ... at least in part.  Perhaps, I think it does so it does... who knows...  [smiley=slowlaugh.gif]  crazy... who's crazy... :)

You're neither alone nor crazy in the struggle against our shared demon ...

Wishing you many PFDANs!

Tony

Alone?  No.  Crazy?  Hmmmm?   LOL   Welcome to our little corner of the asylum.  What's crazy is this friggin disease.  Heat and/or cold works about like every other med/non-med treatment.  Works for some - not for others.   Glad you found something that works for you.

Hang around and read the boards, the links to the left and the stuff on the OUCH website.  Lots of good information in them thar links.

Only if it works in about 4 seconds flat.

That is about how long I can stay still.
