I used alot of expired Imitrex in my day ... but that doesn't mean I like to. My next injection will be from a refill that expired in May of 2000. Hope it's still got a kick !

I used one this last summer that expired in 2001. Not quite as old, but it worked just fine. Since it was old, I didn't split doses.

So .... have you used it and did it work?

I did use it and it worked just as good as any ;;D

I'm retiring in a few months. My neurologist gave me a big prescription for Imitrex shots so that I could "stock up" as he called it while I still have insurance. He mentioned the stuff would keep for 10 years.

Im still taking imagran tabs that AVE gave me at the 2003 convention... they were expired then... Dave has taken expired imatrex and so have I....... thats just a number......if its sealed and kept in a good place Im sure it will be effective. If at all it will be less potent. That's it... I used the the other night 3/2005 that expired in 10/2000, and still had the kick I needed
