Title: Canadian drug sales
Post by beasley on Dec 30th, 2004, 2:17pm
FYI

There are reports of a possible change in policy regarding Canadian drug sales to the US.

I currently take Sansert which is only available in Canada so this could be a big problem for me.

That sucks, but I can see how the Canadian government would want to limit prescriptions to people that have been examined by a doctor.  You may have to do some medical tourism - I would guess that once a doctor in Canada had examined you, you could get refills if the doc continued to monitor your condition via email and/or coordinated with your local doctor in the US.  But the extra time and cost will mean fewer people will benefit from cross-border trade.

Oh Hell, Paul, Canadians ask that question all the time!  Can't see where it's done either country a whole hell of a lot of good.

I think you folks south of the border should be able to just waltz over here and buy drugs if they're cheaper and in return, I should just be able to saunter across your border and buy all the shoes I want - with no questions and no duty charged.  See, they should let us ordinary guys take care of business!
