For thos who knoe me, I'v tried a lot of different medications but, after 10 months of constant pains, I finally found something that worked. Topamax.

I started it at 25mg dayly for 5 days then twice a day for five days etc. until 100mg twice a day. After 3 week, I'VE BEEN TOTALLY PAIN FREE FOR 5 DAYS!!!!!.

This is the best thing that ever happened to me. The only side effects are a: little thingling of the hands and feet but not enought to bother, and a difference in taste when you dring carbonated water (makes it sweeter) Topamax releases carbon dioxide in your body that causes those side effects. It' not really dangerous buy it need to be monitor.

I guess I won't graduate to chronic after all. ;;D

Im glad to hear you are PF... I was prescribed Topamax about 2 yrs ago after 3 wks on the stuff I became very very short with people and irriatable. And that is just not my personality. Good luck and be careful.

Topa did the trick for me as well last cycle.

100mg/day was it. The side effects did kinda suck though.

I am happy that Topamax seems to be working for you. It has helped many people.

Unfortunately, for me, it actually made the ch worse. I also had severely screwed up nightmares. In addition to these effects, I think I lost about 50 IQ points. Wife took my car keys from me and would not let me drive. I was dangerous on the road.

Again, I am happy for anyone that Topamax is helping, but I won't be taking it again.
