Post by eddie on Aug 25th, 2004, 3:21am i have been thru hell the neruo i went to a while back put me on effexor that bastard seemed such an ass so i read info got my shit together and went to my reg doctor and told him that SOB my words exactly almost killed me with that shit you dont use that on somebody with head injury that happened yrs ago but to make my point my gp listen to me so well i had my info and has helped me verapimil 240 to 480 mg per day prednisone 3x a day with taper imitrex injections as needed only 2 in 24 hrs o2 of course xanax 1mg 2 times per day as needed!!! tenormin 25mg 1 per day already had this ear drops for pain at times for earache of course melintonin 3 at bed time coq 10 3 1st thing in the morning good for the heart B50 COMPLEX 2 OR 3 per day magnisum 4 per day water all day my GP said if this dont work let him know i have been chronic for too long this happens 20yrs every yr and last 10 to 12 months this time im going on 368 days but since i have started this regiment i can tell the results it has helped i hadnt obtain my imitrex yet they had to order it never used it if im doing somthing wrong let me know but have to get back to work i wasted my money on that neruo i could just beat him in his HEAD for fun sorry just VENTING this has been a bad cycle >:( THANKS TO ALL PFDAN TO ME TO PLEASE |

Title: Re: im loaded for BEAR Post by eddie on Aug 25th, 2004, 9:50am i just was venting but i have the earachces along with pain in my eye and above my eye i just the thing about it i have had some good insurance along theway in my life. i have just been diagnosed with this beast of a bear im ok the only thing that cost so much is imitrex but the rest not that much. i just was showing how much i have armed myself. if i can get this tamed im a good electrictrician i can make some pretty good moneyon the side or however the point i was trying to make is does it sound like im taking the right measures and dont trust all neruos or to try and inform yourself my GP is what has helped me out but the ch is not a game it is real i have found that verapamil and prednisone has helped me alot and this site has to i wish it was just an earache that has just been a bonus and it sucks the earaches will stop but THE CH WONT DIE. but does it sound like i have got alot of ammo or the right stuff to help. and THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR INPUT. im tuff and doing everything to win my next step is alternitive but im going to get thru this thanks and pfdan to all i mean that from my HEART no pitty for me just input is what helps the flu is what gets the ear going. my worst pain is both of these together talk about a BEAR i have been one. i have a good wife of almost 3yrs i have had kip 8 and 10 most of this past yr everyday but since i started these meds its to a 5 or 6 so i know im getting somewhere THANKS TO THE INFO HERE and good people |

Title: Re: im loaded for BEAR Post by Redrum on Aug 25th, 2004, 3:47pm In my opinion the O2 is the most important thing on your list. make sure you are properly equiped and using it timely and correctly. I prefer a non-rebreather mask with reservoir bag, bubbler (humidifier), and 100% O2 at about 12 LPM. I have also heard that cooling the O2 helps but haven't tried it (put the hose through an ice chest??). |

Title: Re: im loaded for BEAR Post by eddie on Aug 25th, 2004, 11:21pm o2 was the 1st thing my imitrex still has not come in but i called my gp he gave me 3 free samples today i drove so fast to get there 100mg pills im waiting on injections wallmart pharm the last 3 days have been better but cycle has not broke yet but im gonna break it with all the ammo i have now 12 months suck PFDAN TO ALL |

Post by eddie on Aug 29th, 2004, 11:53pm just want to know if this sounds like it would break being chronic beast it seems im having less attacks everyday but atleast 5 to 8 a day they range k3 to k5 and still hit at k8 and k10 im just reading all i can and doing everything i can think of or read about. TREX DOES HELP it is not as bad. but who knows but the beast itself and yourself. but this site has helped me THANKS FOR O2 AND INFO ET 1or 2 repleys would be helpful |
