Title: Positive DR. experience..Opinions?? Post by E-Double on Aug 11th, 2004, 9:45pm Ending week 12 and today was a doozy!! First in a while that had me running a few times throughout the day. I called my Neuro's office for advice about upping verapamil to 720mg. Told the "consultant" the whole spiel Well he called me this afternoon. Nearly brought me to tears because I've never experienced a Dr. calling me to see how I was doing or how "We" as he put it can get me some relief: He felt that he doesn't want me to ramp up yet. Wants me to try a prednisone taper for the week. I was last on pred in the beginning of June... He says maybe we can wipe these return visits out!!! Tells me not to worry about trying to abort the "small ones" Just do it!! Use the O2 and the imitrex as needed. "You shouldn't have to try to sweat it out if ya need it go for it" This sounds good to me but just curious of my family's opinion ;) Thanks, Eric |
