I've been off Topomax for over 2 weeks now, with no real changes in the frequency or intencity of HA's. I think it's pretty safe to say that it didn't help me as it has so many others.

My dilemma is now this. I have left over bottles of these pills and am hopeing someone can tell me an effective means to...UUHEMMM....dispose of this? ;) ?

Any of you that are successfully taking this are free to PM me with the/your details. I know with so many of us without insurance it sure seems a waste to...toss...these out, but no need for them to take up space in my medicine chest. 8)

Hey Redd,

I was told recently that they are useful in unclogging a septic system! LOL

I didn't have luck with them either Redd. Matter of fact, I couldn't remember my name while taking them.

I was really angry all the time when I was on that stuff.

Yeah it's looking as though that is going to be my only "option". With the out of pocket costs "so many" of us have for our meds..Oh well....guss flushing is better then them getting into the "wrong hands".

Think long and hard about flushing them.

Topomax can cause confusion and anger problems.

Last thing you need is a confused toilet flushing stuff back at you.

Don't know the rules where you live, but here, I take stuff like that back to our pharmacy and they dispose of it.

That is why I've been asking for a more...ummmmm...convienient? way to "dispose" of them.

Wish I had some a couple weeks ago. I had to pay the septic man $185.00 to pump out the ............. ;;D

Did it make you angry too? The septic bill I mean.....LMAO!

I wasn't angry at all (unless you count the anger over it not working) but it cher tooked away my smartz!
