Finally got my O2 !!! YEAH!!
Gave me 2 tanks @ up to15 (lpm) (that's good right?)
One for home and one for the road :) only $150.
Sounds cheap to me and this is NY. Will try insurance as well but ya know the pains in the ass. This was quicker.

Could have used it last night and this morning.
Hopefully won't have to tonight ( I guess we all say this)but atleast now I know that I can if needed.

You better believe it!! I hope it helps cause getting tired! We all are though! I've had a weird couple of days since off the pred. or for whatever reason last night I had the most intense monsters in easily a week.

Way to go E-Dub,

Getting the O₂ will help a lot, just knowing you have it there when you need it is a great relief. Being prepared is much better, having relief within arm's length will keep down the worrisome feelings just before it's about to grab you. Real glad for you E.

Just knocked the beast down from an 8 to easily a good old 2. Given I poked myself with some trex as well but it definitely seemed to work quicker!!?? I'll take it!!!!!!

Still not sure which attacks to abort with meds other than the real bad ones because Istill can't find patterns so never know if it is going to be the big kaboom!
Anyway I'm psyched and atleast I can use the O2 for all else. ;;D

Eric, glad to hear of the success with the o2. It really is a great feeling to knock it down isn't it?
I'd be real careful drinking. It's one of the only triggers I have and I make damn sure the cycle's over before trying to drink...but it's up to you ;)

I drank during cycle when I knew I shouldn't just because i wanted a beer so bad...
That is a guaranteed ass kicking most likely...
But WTF...
Like a chronic friend of mine said, "Don't drink, get a headache, drink get a headache..."

Probably gonna get hit anyway, but it seems to make mine twice as painful and longer.

But it didn't stop me.
Just keep that o2 handy.
next time try it without the trex to see if you can kill it with O2 alone. ;)

I'll wait!!!!!! Lost the beer gut anyway then gained the prednisone bloat! Finally losing that. Fiance noticed right away :)

BTW I'm loving the O2 just knocked another one back and didn't use the imitrex.

Hey E man, glad you got your 02 - but a question. .. has your doc discussed preventatives with you?

From what I know, its best to be on a preventative in conjunction with a prednisone set (taper up/down) so that when you are coming off prednisone you don't get the Beast Monster Attack From Hell. The pred stops them (if it works for you), but without a preventative buildup working for you, you're likely to get slammed pretty bad once you taper off of it.

02 is good, you might want to ask the doctor about some preventative like Verapamil for instance. I know there are different types of Verap. too so maybe some of you guys can pipe in on the differences between Verapamil SR, IR....
