Title: First O2 relief!!!!! wow!!!!!!! Post by E-Double on Jul 1st, 2004, 1:55pm Still no script but: I was having a massive attack [smiley=hammer.gif]lasting way over an hour no relief. Already took my zomig still nothing!! Top it off I'm @ a clients house. Was supposed to work l but got there early and was bugging! Finally called 911... Police officer shows up O2 tank in hand. Strapped it on and I swear 10minutes or less I went from tears to nothing followed by shadows. That was with a rebriether bag and prob. not turned up to what you all suggest. Is this how it is supposed to be?? Relief?? ;;D Wow Nice!! O2 rocks!! So wound up calling Doc who obviously doesn't know shit but I layed it into "him" the poor office girl I had relay a message "I firmly request" I called @ like 11:45 still no call back! What happens when you've reached your limit with the meds. Ah! Take O2 why not perscribe this???? >:( Man if I can get for home and portables I swear I could start to deal a lot better. Great, ain't it? Some might even say miraculous. That's why I push o2 so hard. As far as the liters per minute, if the bag doesn't empty when you inhale, then you're fine. Most folks use 15 lpm, but I found 10 lpm to work for me. If I drop to 8, though, it's far less effective because the bag doesn't stay full. Good luck in your quest for the gas. It's just unbelievable that it is so damn hard to get a script for it for some folks. But, as the great George Carlin once said, "Somewhere in this country, right now, someone is seeing the worst doctor in the country." Hope it isn't you! |

I should have it tomorrow [smiley=thumb.gif] Get this misunderstanding: Doc Said it was suggested from the beginning. That I said not interested because I could not tolerate the mask! Hey I don't mind a little pain here and there but pleeeeeeeez!! What was said is slightly different as well as what she asked.... Asked if I'd ever used O2. To which I said I went for a sleep study and could not tolerate wearing the mask to sleep!!!! Not for the Deamons!!! Never tried for the damn headaches. How the hell would I know. So this poor devil of a woman who apparently wanted to give me O2 from the beginning makes the assumption that i do not want it based upon that. I don't know....
