Title: Under the weather Post by MaxPayne on Jun 29th, 2004, 6:33am I was just wondering about something, and if anyone else have had the same experience. It happens so that I started my cycle 30th of Mars, and it hasn't been too bad really. That is up to recently, at the beginning of June. Then we had a big build up of low pressure, and the CH's started getting really bad and happens more frequently, I usually get a big one at 21:00 at night, and then a coupple of small ones during sleep. And I always wake up with one. It seems to me that it is the low pressure that worsens and intensyfies the attacks. Has anybody else had this experience? The smaller ones I can fence of with coffee, but the Howlers need both Imigran and coffee. I use nasal sprays, and it says that it's supposed to work in 15 mins, but it doesn't really. What a bitch huh? |

Title: Re: Under the weather Post by Ueli on Jun 29th, 2004, 9:25am And where in our body would be the organ / sensor for air pressure and its variations? Example: A pressure drop of 50 hPa (hecto Pascal) is equivalent to a change in elevation of about 300 m (1000 feet for those still using archaic units). 50 hPa difference is extreme for European weather, but easily exceeded in a hurricane. So, if you are affected by barometric pressure change, I'd advise you never to climb a nearby hill, even if the ascent takes several hours.... PFNADs Ueli [smiley=smokin.gif] |
