Title: ZOMIG NS
Post by mynm156 on May 14th, 2004, 10:06am
I was just put on this drug and it has worked as an abortive but the REBOUNDS have been UNBELIEVABLE!!!  I had a bad episode at work yesterday took the Zomig it took the the Headache away in about 30 mins.  but lastnight just like it did the first time I took it the rebound punished me.  IT was a serious one lastnight too.  you know the ones were the PAIN WAKES YOU UP LIKE SOMEONE STABED YOU IN THE EYE!!!  [smiley=hammer.gif] Some two hour later I was able to go back to bed.  Has anyone else had problem like this with Zomig?

Thanks Everybody!!

6 hours, I'm thinking not rebound.  Have you tried zomig in pill form?

Just another NASTY huh?  Nope Just got the NS this week. Samples from Neuro.  I bitched at him about giving me new scripts and me spending CASH on drugs that dont work. So I said give me samples first.

i find zomig lasts longer than imitrex but can take up to 1.5hrs to work. am 2-weeks into a cycle right now andd suicidal - AGAIN.

keep trying to get the docotr to prescribe me zomig as an inhaler but keeps saying it is too expensive.

funny, doesn't have a problem with the imitrex injectors. they work wonderfully but only for a few hours

does anyone know anything about prednisone as a preventative?
