I've been a clusterhead for a long time. Some days are worse than others. Yesterday I broke my old record. I used 10 (4 mg) injections of Imitrex. Docs say "enough !" and to go to the ER...but that always sucks. If tonight is 'bad', guess I will go in for some DHE or Droperidol IV infusions. Life is hard !

Please don't allow yourself to get that desperate. Talk to us.

One of our members is having DHE at the moment, she is totally pain free for 3 days so far, and there is always hope it may last for a while after the treatment. The bad bit was that she had to go drug (Imigran) free in advance and coped just with 02, but she said that was the tough bit.
She is thoroughly enjoying her 'holiday from pain" at the moment though so maybe you should have a bit of that too?
