Title: Zomig inhaler and Anti-Seizures
Post by buckeyescooter on Mar 29th, 2004, 8:44pm
Does anyone know why you can only use 2 Zomig inhalers per 24 hrs? What are the side effects/ danger of using more?
What about anti-seizures.....had a little luck with Keppra.....Neurontin made me too stupid....and I'm picking up a new one tonite....I'll post the name later as it is new to me. Anyone had any luck with ANY anti-seizures?   Help.

Too much triptans (zomig, imitrex, etc) tend to make your heart blow up.

Not sure about the others...

Do you have a good neuro?
Have you tried the most used meds like prednisone, verapimil, topomax, or any of the others that dominate conversation about treatment around here? Any luck?

Never mind about the doc... I went back and read your other post. I guess he's probably pretty good if he's at cedar...

I also tried Neurontin and had to quit it.  I'm now trying Zonegran and experiencing more pf time and a full night's sleep with no side effects except drowsiness.  i'm chronic and have tried most all of the "normal" meds that you read about here to no avail.

good luck to ya
renee

Is your heart blowing up a bad thing?
      This is a great website.

Well... Like you I am a former, or I guess "recovering" addict as well.
I used to try hard to blow my heart up! The closer I got the better I liked it.
But that was then and this is now. And triptans aren't nearly as interesting to die on than coke and speed.  [smiley=headbanger.gif]
*shudder* [smiley=hurl.gif]
