Title: Re: anyone tried this medication yet? Post by UN_SOLVED on Mar 12th, 2004, 11:25pm I'm sure lots of ppl here have heard of Frova. It's a triptan, like Imitrex, that last longer. If you take Frova, you can't take Imitrex and that's a big turn off to many clusterheads. Glad to hear that it is working for you. Unsolved |

Title: Re: anyone tried this medication yet? Post by helpless23 on Mar 13th, 2004, 9:05am HI Steve, My husband tried Frova first out of all the meds he's tried. It was working pretty good - he wasn't getting hit as often and not as long but he was still getting hit. It cut the beast down to about once a day. Then we went to fill it at the pharmacy and they refused it. Seems the refill is only good every 30 days. (the dose our Dr. gave us was only 21 pills) He is taking Verapamil now, 240 X 2 and it's working wonders. The beast hasn't showed up in 7 days now! Glad that Frova is working for you! All the best! Much Love, Toni |
