Title: Re: varapamil! can it make your tongue sore? Post by ozzman on Feb 24th, 2004, 11:23am Are swallowing the pill whole or chewing on it? I have only once, chewed on it, and it basically numbed my tongue and throat, not a fun feeling. Other than that, I have never seen that as a side effect in any of the literature. Ozzy |

Title: Re: varapamil! can it make your tongue sore? Post by pubgirl on Feb 24th, 2004, 8:09pm It was reported to us in the UK that long term use may have a side effect of bleeding gums, but I haven't heard anything about tongues being sore Wendy |

Title: Re: varapamil! can it make your tongue sore? Post by Gena on Feb 25th, 2004, 10:44am I just started on the stuff my self (180mg) I was told to take it at night before bedtime with a glass of milk. I did so last night for the first time and all night I lingered in that asleep but not all the way asleep stage. Did anyone else have this problem, or is it just me! and if you did when did it go away a very sleepy Gena |
