My Nero has given me O2, Zomig nasal spray (samples) and Indocin<sp>. I have had 6 attacks in last three days. Took the Zoming @ early waring symptoms and it appears to work!!!!. I mean in about 15 min pain has started to go away, 30min- gone! Doc say to use Zomig only once a day for now. I use it at work (Zomig) and I use the 02 at home. |

Title: Re: ZOMIG Post by Edski_1 on Feb 13th, 2004, 11:07am I've used Zomig tabs with pretty good results...tried the nasal spray once. It worked a bit faster it seemed, although I didn't really like the taste and drips... But it's a good abortive for me! :) |

Title: Re: ZOMIG Post by west17m on Feb 18th, 2004, 11:11pm I'm a big zomig fan, but I'd still trade a year's supply for a preventative that's 100%. Oh, and thanks for posting the 1 zomig/day rec by your doc. I'm running that course right now (18 HA's in 19 days). |

Title: Re: ZOMIG Post by Karla on Feb 19th, 2004, 9:06am I have used zomig and it works great. I do know tho that with the imitix that you can take the ns several times a day. I had taken it for several years at 4-6 times a day. If you suffer from more headaches like I do (8x/day) you may want to look at imitrix |

Title: Re: ZOMIG Post by bluesunshine on Feb 21st, 2004, 12:51am Hi Houseofpain, I used to drop in zomig until last summer. I took zomig since '97 (approx.),but last summer I had to switch to trex injection because it has no more effect = 2 hours of f**k **g pain... ....(maybe should have tried a larger dose, but not recommended with these med- triptan ) In the past years, like you, the beast was gone after 20 minutes if taken at the right time (in the middle of the night, 30 min max = gone away but tired at wake up). May be last summer was a different bout?? wish you luck with zomig (for long time) I do not give up with something that alreary worked for many years- I will start with zomig in the next bout. |
