Docter mentioned to me about only takinf verapimil only during my cycles. Has anyone tried this does it work vs taking it all the time, Interested in finding out?[smiley=hammer.gif]

Most people who are episodic take verapamil only when in cycle. When they feel the episode may be ending they will try and lower the dose and finally stop vera- pamil altogether.

There is no sense in taking medication for, say, 6 months between episodes. And taking vera all the time will not prevent your next cycle to come along.

I don't know if one's body can ghet so used to Verapamil that a new cluster episode will break through and you';d have to take even more Vera.
As I say, I don't know but it might be a possibility.

I'd say try and wean yourself of Vera, if youfeel your episode is over.
