Title: Anyone also taking Paxil and find pos results?
Post by birdman on Feb 10th, 2004, 8:56pm
I have been suffering for 18 years, not properly diagnosed till two years ago.  Life sucked till then.  Now I have a prednisone and verapmil plan that seems to be successfull.  Also have oxygen tank at bedside at all times.  I also have had panic attacks in the past and gone on Paxil twice.  Still taking it and have noticed no headaches while I am on it.  Got off it about one year ago and headaches returned in one month.  Have been back on it ever since.  Any similar experiences?

Hi Birdman,

I'm glad something's working for you.  I tried Paxil... and wish I never did.  It didn't do anything for my CH and caused me much misery.  I ended up with a physical dependence to it.  A really horrible experience for me.

Paxil didn't do anything for my headaches but the Dr. gave it to me to prevent me from killing myself (that was years ago)....I'm still here but no longer on Paxil.

was on paxil about a year ago. Dr. told me to take it at night to help me sleep durring an episode of CH.  dont know if it helped me sleep at all........ but didnt help CH episode.
On a positive note it helped me tollerate my (now x )  boyfriends kids better [smiley=laugh.gif]
Since then I have been on lexapro for panic attacks. Also no help with CH.

P.s . forgot to add that I needed to discontinue use because of an allergic reaction it made my tounge swell.  :P
