Title: oxygen concentrator - night time episodes Post by violet on Nov 18th, 2003, 10:31pm My Mother-In-Law recently passed away from lung cancer, and she had an O2 concentrator. I think I may try it. I use O2 from my E tank with great success already, but I have most of my episodes when I am sleeping. They wake me up. My husband suggested that I try her O2 concentrator for a couple of nights to see if it helps when I am in cycle. Anybody here tried anything like this? Vi |

Title: Re: oxygen concentrator - night time episodes Post by forgetfulnot on Nov 19th, 2003, 12:22am Violet, I've been using one for over two years with very good results. You must get right to it, or it won't help. After 18 years of being chronic I wake very early to night time attack. Many here will tell you this is just impossible, all I can say is that I have saved a lot of money vs. tanks. I use an Invacare 5 (5 lpm ) machine. Lee Edit, when you are in a cycle start the machine as you retire. It takes about 5 min. for the machine to get up to speed. |
