Title: Clomid update : Post by Unsolved on Nov 4th, 2003, 12:33am I've taken the first script of 5 tablets. NO HEADACHES :D Today, I didn't refill my prescription, fell asleep at around 9 pm, and BAM ! 10:30 had a Kip 9 :'( It was as bad as they get [smiley=frown.gif] I then ran to Walgreens and took some more (after an Imitrex injection of course). Is this stuff working ? PF for the past 5 days. I guess THIS is the test to see if it stops them. I'll keep ya posted on this med...if it works for me (and Mark), it might others ;;D ~ Unsolved ~ |

Title: Re: Clomid update : Post by MarkHW on Nov 4th, 2003, 4:38pm WOW... Better not miss a dose! I'm getting low and have to send a long term in. I'll need a short term dose to get me through. But... I'm still cluster free at 4 weeks, 3 days. Mark |

Title: Re: Clomid update : Post by Unsolved on Nov 10th, 2003, 10:02am I cannot determine yet weather this is working or just has changed my (CH) routine. First 5 days PF...6th day (missed the dose)...I fell asleep early and got a rude awakening from the beast! Ran down got some more Clomid and started it again. 5 more PFD's and then WHAM ... another 2 visits from the beast during my sleep. PF again for the last 3 days. It might be helping (to reduce the frequency of attacks) but I haven't made up my mind yet. I'll keep taking it in the meantime and see how it goes. I'll keep you all informed. Unsolved |

Title: Re: Clomid update : Post by notseinfeld on Nov 10th, 2003, 1:24pm Started on my test Clomid today. It's the 5 day trial pack and have a follow-up phone consult w/the doc. If it works I guess we'll see where to go from there. Question: The side-effects listed at www.rxlist.com inlude blurred vision and even states such on the bottle. What I can't find out is WHY is causes this. Anyone know? TIA nots |

Title: Re: Clomid update : Post by notseinfeld on Nov 10th, 2003, 2:44pm Good idea but I was educating him this morning on the effects of Clomid in the brain. He knew it caused blurred vision, didn't know why either. Where's damn Ueli when ya need him? |

Title: Re: Clomid update : Post by Unsolved on Nov 10th, 2003, 11:33pm I was also warned of blurred vision and told to report it to my neuro at once if I had any problems w/ my vision. I also had to have a blood test BEFORE I could get the script to check liver functions. Not exactly sure why...better ask your doc if he/she thinks it's necessary for you to have that too. Unsolved |

Title: Re: Clomid update : Post by notseinfeld on Nov 11th, 2003, 11:36pm roger that unsolved-- Day 2 and Pain Free. I do still have the stuffy nostril (same side as always) virtually all day long which is a strange manifestation. Clearly the process is being affected. Actually caught a movie last night and watched it all the way through. First time that has happened in a good 2 years. Usually at the 45 minute mark I'll get pain, then an all out attack. Friggin TV is a trigger, go figure! |
