I all,

I have posted on general for several days and I am getting frustrated! I want to try the magic mushroon treatment but I live in Northeast Illinois (few species here) don't know any dealers and I don't know of a reputable dealer in spores? Can someone please help me???????????

PS: or maybe you know how I can hunt some in my area? The web sites I have been on only told me that Pluteus Salicinus grow here but I can't find a picture?? Help!!!!!!

Unless you're a very experienced mycologist, I would strongly caution against picking your own, especially in North America, where safe identification of wild species is tricky. If you accidently consume a poisonous or infected mushroom, you run the risk of suffering an exquisitely painful and miserable death.

Medical marijuana is legal here in Nevada. Will this work as good as mushrooms? If so, what type of Dr prescribes it? I have a hard enough time getting prescriptions for Prednisone, Verapamil and Imitrex.

Your recreational activities may very well have been the reason for you lack of headaches....the fellow who brought the treatment to our attention has a very simiilar story. He went for some years without cluster attacks and the only major difference in his life was that he had taken LSD for fun. So he tried a little of the same substance and damned if it didn't work. Then he told the folks here on this board about it back in 1998. Not many believed him at first, but by 1999, others began to try it. He saved a lot of people from a lot of pain. (Thanks, Flash).

Unfortunately, no. Marijuana, from all reports, either does nothing for CH, or it triggers attacks. If only...
