Hello Everyone

My brother has CH. Tomorrow morning he's going for his first acupuncture treatment and then in the evening ,he's going to try mushrooms.
(Crack and methamphetimines on every corner but try and find some shrooms,,what a job,LOL)
Ive read alot on this site but am still a bit confused.
He's episodic, they started 2 weeks ago, 6th year.
Hes 6'3 and 225 pounds, did mushrooms in his younger years so Im wondering what kind of dose he should be trying ? Also , I see its important to be free of meds,,how long between taking oxycodon and doing the shrooms ? Should he do them before a CH starts,,during ? after? ..Does it make a difference?
Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated ..

Lucy,

the object of taking shrooms for clusters is losing your headache, not getting a high.

Med free means med free. I do not know the half-life of oxycontin. You could maybe check that out on the Internet. Do some research, you know?

Do not accept anything other than real shrooms (they can put anything in powdered form, you DON'T want to know what-all) and then take 1/3 of a dose that would send you high.
For me that is about 8 grammes of fresh, juicy shrooms.
When the shrooms age (even in a fridge) they start to dessiccate a little, which ups the dose of psylocibin per gramme.

That is why it is almost imperative you/your brother get your own spores and start your own nursery. Much easier to dose.

Body weight etc. has not much to do with that.

It is best to take shrooms when the first signs of an eposide are there, but failing that one can try in the middle of an episode (it's what chronics have to do anyway).
In that case keep some supply at hand for a next try after 3 or 4 days (they won't work at all before).

Having used shrooms before does not make one "immune" or some such thing, and does not make one need higher doses as (possibly) with narcotics.
Neither has body weight much to do with effectiveness of a given amount taken.

Actually, I think the oxy WILL interfere dramatically.I probably wouldn't even bother if I wasn't 3 days removed from the Oxy. I know how ard they are to procure....

Hi just wanted to wish your brother success with the mushrooms...make sure you are well informed though before hand.....the only advice I can give is forget the accupuncture ;D
