Title: high interocular pressure=cluster head aches?
Post by maynoth on Sep 15th, 2003, 9:43am
Hi everyone.. I told my eye doctor that I had sever eye pains and some times it felt like my eye was going to literaly explode.   She tested my interoccular pressures and found they were WAY up..   She is treating me with glaucoma medicine (betopic-s eye drops) and my cluster head aches have stopped completely.   Also I have found that when my doctor switched me to Amour from synthroid that seemed to help also.

:)

The only time I have any problems with my eye is during an attack.  I have ch on my right side of my head. My right eye and temple and area below all the way to my neck.
I simply cannot make it thru an attack without ice pak for temple and eye.  However, other than while in the midst of an attack, I have no eye pain.

Is that the only time your eye bothers you??  During attack?

Wishes for many pfdan

Jean

Hi Maynoth,

Could you expand on this a little?  Your cluster headaches have stopped completely for years now?  A few days?  Are you episodic or chronic?  If episodic, how long do your cycles typically last?

Thank you,

-Rick
