Title: Re: painful headaches Post by Mark C on Aug 11th, 2003, 1:57am Hello XO, Welcome to the board. Sorry about your head. I will attach a couple of links to aid in you diagnosis, however it is strongly suggested that you get yourself to a Dr. soon. Look here (http://www.clusterheadaches.org/diagnose.htm) and here (http://www.clusterheadaches.org/comparison_table.htm) and finally here. Title: Re: painful headaches Post by Prense on Aug 16th, 2003, 7:45pm No crying, but uncontrollable tearing of my eye on the side of the attack. I can saturate a tissue in less than 5 mins. |

Title: Re: painful headaches Post by ClusterChuck on Aug 16th, 2003, 8:01pm Crying is definately part of my headaches! I flip flop from crying in pain, to raging furry at them. Include in there jumping up and down, banging my head, fast pacing, and I hope you are never around to hear the language that comes out of this toilet mouth of mine! Chuck |

Title: Re: painful headaches Post by BobG on Aug 17th, 2003, 4:02am It doesn't sound like cluster headaches to me.........but I'm not a doctor. Quote:
With cluster headaches there is NO WAY you would be able to go to bed. Clusters are an Up-and-Running-Banging-On-The-Walls pain. Possible migraines? I don't know but would like to suggest you see a doctor for a diagnoses. |

Title: Re: painful headaches Post by Prense on Aug 17th, 2003, 9:37am Good point Bob...if it is a KIP 4 or less I can still go to bed. Getting to sleep is another story, but I have done it. I do not consider 4 an attack, but sometimes an attack for me will fall back down to a level 4 or less instead of PF. However, Xo did say they last from 8-9 UNTIL he/she (?) goes to bed.... Chris |

Title: Re: painful headaches Post by Danish on Aug 19th, 2003, 4:11am Hi xosweetie - hope you're feeling better today. From what you write I don't think you have Ch... I'm so happy for you if it's "just" migraines. ;) Ch is SEVERE pain - as others have told you, you can't possibly go to bed when you have an attack. Read all the amazing info on this site - try the very helpful cluster quiz. Go see a doctor to get a proper diagnose. Take care! :) |
