Title: Re: percorgesic Post by maggie_may on Jul 31st, 2003, 1:51pm Hi 5-string! Sorry I missed your 'hello' post in the general forum. Sorry you need to find us, but glad you're here. Definitely get yourself to a neuro with printouts of this site and OUCH to make sure you get a correct diagnosis. About your question about percogesic. WebMD has a decent description of what the drug is all about here: http://my.webmd.com/content/drugs/2/4046_1333.htm?lastselectedguid={5FE84E90-BC77-4056-A91C-9531713CA348} As far as I can tell, it does the same thing as Advil, Tylenol, etc. (Though I could be wrong). In other words, if that is the correct description of the drug, it won't come anywhere near CH. Most of us here benefit from using Imitrex (part of the triptan family of medications) and pure Oxygen as abortives for our pain. Hopefully I was of some help here. pfdans to you, maggie |

Title: Re: percorgesic Post by Hound_Dogg on Aug 1st, 2003, 8:30am Percogesic is a great over the counter pain reliever. Works great for tension headaches. I don't have migraines...so I can't answer on that. But it doesn't do anything for Cluster Headaches. I've yet to find any O.T.C drugs that help Clusters. Jim |

Title: Re: percorgesic Post by 5-string on Aug 5th, 2003, 12:52pm Thanks for the advise, Iwas out of town over the weekend. You're correct in that it did nothing for my head. A friend of mine said it helps with migrains sometimes. It was wortha try. Thanks again, Mark |
