OXYGEN
I am 16 years old and my cluster headaches started 5 years ago. I have been to absolutely every kind of doctor i could think of. (Acupunctur, Chyropractice, Neurologist, Hypnotherapist, Feedback.....i cant even remember all of them.) One doctor gave me the treatment of OXYGEN. It doesn't always make the CH go away, but it usually does. It acts extrememly fast also. Even if it doesn't make it go away, it calms you down with the CH. It makes it very, very easy to tolerate it.

MAXALT
A pill that I take when I get a CH is MAXALT. It usually works and makes the headache go away in like 10-15 minutes.

HYPNOTHERAPY
I never thought I would go to someone like this, but I'm willing to try anything to get rid of CH's so I went. This is really cool. He told me to tell him what my pain was (color, shape, etc.) I said it was a bright red diamond. He told me to imagine the red diamond and move it to different parts of my body. First you imagine it where the CH is, then you imagine it in other places like arm, leg, elbow, knee, foot, etc. Then you let it go by imagining the red diamond (or whatever you chose) goes down to the bottom of your foot. A trap door open, the CH flys out and you quickly close the trap door. If that doesn't completetly get rid of your CH (sometimes it makes it go away instantly, i know, it doesnt make sense, but it happens) just keep moving your red diamond around to different parts of your body.

STEROIDS
When I get CH's like crazy, (Like literally every 3 hours, every day) I get a steroid pack. It usually brakes the cycle.

MASSAGE
When the pain isn't atthe worse it ever gets, have someone massage or scratch your back. It feels good and distracts you from your CH.
