One of the old line drugs but woth a try; if it works you will know quickly.

I tried in 20-yrs ago and it did wonderful things for my blood pressure. That's all !

My experience with inderal was the same as Bob_Johnson. No help at all for clusters. It is a very old line drug, and I don't believe it is used much for CH anymore. It only made me feel lethargic and irritable. I believe some physicians tried it on clusters because it was shown to have some sucess with migraine - as I recall in a clinical study of the drug for high blood pressure some of the participants claimed they also had fewer/less intense migraines.

Good luck,

inderal is a beta blocker used to treat mindgraines.

My doc gave it to me and it slowed my heart beat down to about 40/min but nothing for my clusters.  You won't see beta blockers mentioned in any of the CH articles as a successful treatment.

Sounds like it may be time to look up a new Doc. That's from the dark ages and like everyone said, it don't work for clusters. Good luck!
