Title: IS YOUR OXYGEN COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Post by kari on Jun 3rd, 2003, 2:20pm
a question for everyone, how much percentage are you covered by insurance for oxygen in the home?
Does a $5oo deductable sound right? Thanks for any one's input, I am tired of fighting with the oxygen comapny or insurance, no one gets oxygen is a neccessity not something I do for fun.

Last cluster I was with HealthNet.  O2 was covered 100% with no deductible.

I'm with Cigna HMO and home delivered oxygen is covered 100% with no deductible. I think it all depends on what kind of policy your employer offers (i.e., is willing to pay for). I'm sure there are others with the same insurance companies that have different policies with different levels of coverage.

I have Oxford Freedom,  I have to say that they don't cover much but they have covered the oxygen no questions asked.
