Title: Need Help Please!!! Post by BOBBIO on Mar 3rd, 2003, 12:56pm 7 yr. veteran of CH. came off 18 mo break, now back, breaking thru 80 mg of prednisone. Ins. co. cut back imitrex statdose to 6 every 10 days, even though dose is 2 every 24 hrs. I could have sworn 2X5=10. Never had pred. at 80 mg fail to stop cycle temporarily. These HA are 10s, coming fast and furious, 14 in 1 day, blew away my old record of 6. Any thoughts, anyone else exploding at this time of this year? El nino ? I live in the NE USA, much colder this year, and fluctuating. 40 deg F yesterday, -10 this AM, 12hrs later, any ideas? Thanks, you,ve all been helpful in the past, I'm thankful for the 18 mo. break, but right now it seems ages ago. Good Luck and PFD ??? :o :o :o |

Post by cbolony on Mar 3rd, 2003, 5:37pm Bobbio i get 3-4 cycles a year lasting 6-8 wks sometimes 10 live in ny.Iget 3-4 ch every day for the first 4 wks then they go 1-3 for the rest of the cycle.The heat could trigger a ch for me.The imitrex you take do you cut them in 1/2 or 1/3 to save them. |

Post by gnfb on Mar 5th, 2003, 1:59am Im into a prolonged spate at present thought i was bad getting three attacks a day i feel for you Doc suggested injections of imigran they give you 2 every 21 days yea that will work so Im taking 100mg tabs that are fairly quick working Im for setting up a black market in imigran of the coast where all sufferers can live with as much imgran as THEY NEED |
