Title: Need help with injections Post by GaryLA on Feb 6th, 2003, 1:24am I was prescribed 6ml vial of Imitrex along with some insulin syringes. The doc didn't give much guidance on how to inject. Anyone who can give advise or tips on "how to" properly inject would be greatly appreciated. |

Title: Re: Need help with injections Post by Mastifflvr28 on Feb 6th, 2003, 2:00am You can practice on an orange if you want to, but basically just grab some fat, push the needle into your skin, and push the plunger. I do it in my thigh...cause I have LOTS of fat there. Also...you can try taking 2mg instead of 6mg...just drawl up to the 2 line on the insulin syringe. WAY less side effects with 2mg, and kills the ha no prob. Hope this helps, LOVE my vials!! Mast |
