I have been taking Prednisone in various dosages for the last 6 week. I think it finally did the trick. I have gain close to 20 lbs - a lot of it in my face. Question: Will this decrease as I start to taper down to smaller doses and then quit? I can't beleive that most of it isn't water. Anyone have an insight?

Yes it will!
Mopar was on prednisone for eight months and became a little moon-faced - also was chubbier 'round the tum than I can ever remember, but as soon as he stopped taking prednisone, he quickly lost the excess weight and his heavenly form returned!
