Have any of you ever heard or tried using Niacin as a treatment for C.H.'s ? Also my Dr. just pres. Inderal, 80mg.per day. has anyone had any luck with this. Right now I am also taking 20mg. of prednisone a day. I'm in about the third wk. of cycle.

Hi Dodger,
I used inderal last year and it helped alot but this years cycle it did not help at all. I never heard of the niacin thing but maybe others have. I saw my neuro yesterday and he said the inderal is mostly used for migraines so he prescribed something else, cant read his rx so will have to wait till I fill it(something Ive never heard of before) Maybe you will have luck, I was only taking 30mg. a day because I normally have low blood pressure and he was concerned it would lower it more.

Thanks Suzy: I got the niacin thing from my cousin, claimed he worked with a guy in Chicago that had wall climin headaches and got relief from Niacin. Have not seen any mention of it on the C.H. site though. Just another straw to grab at.

If you try the niacin, let us know the results. Could be something to look into.
