Title: Xanax Post by forgetfulnot on Oct 17th, 2002, 11:29pm I have tried this in small doses before dinner and one hour before bedtime. Results, better appetite, sleep all night long, no more tossing and turning. Anyone one else tried Xanax? Lee :D |

Title: Re: Xanax Post by Not4Hire on Oct 18th, 2002, 12:03am ...nope lee...but I have tried this: "St. Stephen" Words by Robert Hunter; music by Jerry Garcia ("Saint Stephen" composed and written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter. Reproduced by arrangement with Ice Nine Publishing Co., Inc. (ASCAP)) Saint Stephen with a rose In and out of the garden he goes Country garland in the wind and the rain Wherever he goes the people all complain Stephen prosper in his time Well he may and he may decline Did it matter? does it now? Stephen would answer if he only knew how Wishing well with a golden bell Bucket hanging clear to hell Hell halfway twixt now and then Stephen fill it up and lower down And lower down again Lady finger dipped in moonlight Writing `what for?' across the morning sky Sunlight splatters dawn with answers Darkness shrugs and bids the day goodbye Speeding arrow, sharp and narrow, What a lot of fleeting matters you have spurned Several seasons with their treasons Wrap the babe in scarlet covers call it your own Did he doubt or did he try? Answers aplenty in the bye and bye Talk about your plenty, talk about your ills One man gathers what another man spills Saint Stephen will remain All he's lost he shall regain Seashore washed by the suds and the foam Been here so long he's got to calling it home Fortune comes a crawlin, Calliope woman Spinning that curious sense of your own Can you answer? Yes I can, but what would be the answer to the answer man? High green chilly winds and windy vines in loops around the twining shafts of lavender, they're crawling to the sun Underfoot the ground is patched with climbing arms of ivy wrapped around the manzanita, stark and shiny in the breeze Wonder who will water all the children of the garden when they sigh about the barren lack of rain and droop so hungry 'neath the sky... William Tell has stretched his bow till it won't stretch no furthermore and/or it may require a change that hasn't come before ;D |

Title: Re: Xanax Post by forgetfulnot on Oct 18th, 2002, 1:06am I totally agree not4, but Quote:
Other factors other than heroin play into my malady, due to HCV I haven’t eaten a decent meal in weeks, but I hear where you’re coming from. May decline / does it matter know, that is a forgone conclusion. Just as the pot smokers in California smoke to increase their appetitive I found this drug to have the same effect in small quantities. May help a cluster head or two also? Lee |

Title: Re: Xanax Post by oringkid on Oct 19th, 2002, 1:49pm I took Xanax for anxiety attacks and it is great! Don't think it did much for my clusters....actually, I think I was in remission when taking xanax. Normal remission though. Interesting... I don't seem to get anxiety attacks while getting clusters...either that or just don't worry about the anxiety while in episode. I dunno. But I do like xanax. There have been times in the last year that I wish I had not gone to non med treatment of my anxiety attacks! The xanax works great for my atypical menieres too. I use meclizine for that now. ramble, ramble.... Sherry |

Title: Re: Xanax Post by forgetfulnot on Oct 19th, 2002, 11:43pm Hi Kim, my post was not really intended to help folks with the C/H deal, however seems like there are more and more of the population dealing with HCV. May be off topic but so what. :-* Yes I am in a good mood tonight. Lee |

Title: Re: Xanax Post by oringkid on Oct 25th, 2002, 11:35am Well Lee, they have pasted the name atypical Menieres to my dizziness episodes. My dizziness lasts only for seconds instead of hours (Thank you God! or Whoever!) I don't have ringing in the ears (but I do get a high pitched whine, kinda like electronics whine at times) and a feeling of fullness in one ear. They couldn't find anything else wrong with me so they said although my symptoms did not jive with menieres that is the closest they could come with out the (godawful I'm not gonna do it) tests. They want to see my Nystagmus! (those dirty bastards! LOL) nystagmus being the dancing the eyes sometimes do when in a dizzy spell. I told them I have it (the dancing eyes). I won't let them induce it. But, since the meclizine seems to work and that or valium is what they would prescribe anyway (another thing I have that has no cure...jeez!) I just take the meclizine. Sherry BTW, while I took the Xanax it seemed to work very well too for preventing the dizziness. I only took a quarter tab of the .25 tabs a day for the most part. Most xanax I ever took in one day was 1 of the .25 tabs (My prescription said take 1 tab 4 times a day!) |
