I've had just a little help in alleviating the pain by using Charlie's method, with one variation. Instead of concentrating on the pain in the head and willing the blood to flow into the hands, concentrate on the hands, and focus on them becoming warm. It won't stop the pain, but it does diminish it a little. Try it!!! :) :)
