I was put on two new drugs (well not new but new uses) I take Migranal which is DHE nose spray I use to do the needle but that hurt like hell, and clonazepam 5mg I take 2 a bedtime and so far so good. I noticed that after trying many many different drugs through the years this seems to keep the attacks very short maybe 15 to 20 mins long and not real bad. I also can get a full nigh sleep with this drug. I see neuro again today....he keeps a real close eye on me and see's me about twice a week to check me out. I really like him and he himself has clusters so he knows what the pain is like. This has been for about 3 days now so we will see if the SOB fines another way to fine me......but let's keep our fingers crossed. SAmi

Sami - I am very familiar with the DHE injections - OUCH!!!!!! >:( I am not familiar with the other med that you listed, but I'm glad that you are able to get some sleep at night and some pain free days.

Keep up the good work and please keep us posted on this medication and your progress....

Sami, Are you sure you are taking 2-5mg of clonazepam. My wife takes .5mg and it really knoks her out but hey if it works and doesn't make you sick then great.

yep that's what I'm taking and last night I couldn't sleep to save my soul I had a 5 hr cluster it was really really bad thank God for hubby he just kept putting in and out of the shower to help me deal with it. Monday I go for more nevre blocks and Wed. I go for the botox injections. Wish me luck....SAmi

correction....I take 2 -.5mg at bedtime....but I don't fine it to really knock me out....at first it did but after a couple of days it doesn't anymore.....boy you would think that I have the system of a horse....I don't do drugs and yet it takes so much to acheive what they want to in me......Sami

hi all

I just started taking 1 mg tab 1 tab 3x per day and melation 9mg and haven't had a night h/a in over 6 days. i dont know why it works but all i know is it lets me get a good night sleep amen
