Title: Re: the benefit of a non-rebreather mask Post by BobG on Jul 23rd, 2002, 3:05pm With a standard mask you won't get 100 per cent oxygen 100 per cent of the time. Thanks to Ueli we have a picture of the non-rebreather mask. Click on the teal color: http://www.jlenterprise.com/nrbmx.html http://www.salterlabs.com/products/oxygen_masks/high_conc.htm And turn the tank valve to about 10 to 12 lpm (or maybe even higher) |

Title: Re: the benefit of a non-rebreather mask Post by BobG on Jul 23rd, 2002, 4:33pm I would say to keep it clean. In such an oxygen rich enviroment germs, mold, fungus snot, etc could grow to unbelievable size. And cut the elastic band off the mask. That's in case you fall asleep while wearing it it will fall away from your face. |
