Title: Sudafed
Post by tbleu on Jul 16th, 2002, 6:30pm
After reading a lot on this forum and elsewhere, I believe I can be categorized as CH Episodal.
The part that puzzles me though is that I get some relief if I take sudafed early enough in the event.
It seems to either help the CH disapppear sooner and/or take some of the bite of the beast away.
Wouldn't that change the CH diagnosis to sinus headache?

Of course there are some episodes that can't be helped at all by anything.

Hi tbleu.  Glad Sudafed helps you a bit.  The only thing I can add is that I was taking Sudafed every night before going to bed during this cycle and it did absolutely nothing for me.  I never tried using it to abort an attack because there was no way I could get it into my system fast enough to take effect.
