my husban is about tired of me always in some sort of pain, now the big attacks (at least that is what i call them when they are excruiating) started again, he keeps telling me to try acupunture

after looking for help with these headaches on the web i am beginning to think it may be cph or cph i cant rememer the letters.

i take zomig or imitrex now, but it aint cutting it no more.

i am afraid he will divorce me so, i would divorce me if i could any helpful suggestions please?

I'm interested in accupunture myself norma so I've been watching posts about it for quite some time

The question really seems to be whether its worked for even one person here.

I believe I saw SOME relief, although I had many, many treatments and I spent A LOT of cash on them. And this was at a bargain price because I have a friend who treated me.

Overall, it wasn't worth it, I'm sorry to say.

The relief I got came from my friend hitting points that were too painful for me to take over and over, like in the bottom of my feet.

I have a real problem with someone who has given you a vow of support for the rest of your life taking a stance like this toward your condition. Maybe he should spend as more time reading this board and learning about what's wrong with you in an effort to help, as my girlfriend is now doing, as Kristi does for Scott, as Monique does for Greg, as Margi does for Mike, etc.

If he still doesn't get it, tell him to register here and come talk to us.

His attitude is ridiculous, and you should IN NO WAY blame yourself for what is happening to you. They are EXCRUCIATING, as you said.

Sorry it didn't help me seemed to make them worse but again I'm chronic and nothing works.

I know nothing about acupuncture. Sorry I can't help on that one.

But I do know what it is like to have a great supporter. And if your husband would consider divorcing you over your pain, you should divorce him first because he is an a*s*s*h*o*l*e.

If you divorced you you'd still have cluster attacks but you'd have them alone but you would lose the pain in the butt.

He may want a divorce because you have headaches? Damn! What would he do if you had a serious problem?

What you should do is go find a hooker with the clap and hire her to do your husband.

I've tried acupuncture several times over the years, the last time being 18 weeks last year. Doesn't work. The Dr. gave up on me!
The reason I tried several times is because I know there are different levels of expertise and some Dr's combine it with herbs as well. Tried 2 Chinese Dr's and a couple of Americans. But no luck!

Sorri you fel so sad - its NOT YOU!!!!!!
Your partner is probably suffering watching you suffer, and in frustration human emotions sometimes get the better of us............. it is SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to watch the one you love suffer and be unable to DO anything. He will be immensely frustrated by this. As you too, must be. You are not alone. We all send love and kind thoughts your way.

Acupuncture was singularly unsuccessful for my darling. Cost a lot too, but then we are all different, and what works for one may not work for another and vice versa.

We tried everything, and I agree with Rick!!!!

Hang in there, babe. This year will bring new research that will helpus all. We are all trying to find solutions and this page posts them regularly. Stay with it.

I tried accupuncture with last years CH.
He also stuck little magnets all over me.
Headaches never came back until this year.
This year I tried accupuncture again but he didn't do the magnets.
I am still having CH's but I feel it definately triggered the ending of this cycle.

There is a pressure point in the web between the thumb and first finger.
I never got one bit of relief from it but I did learn that the left hand connects to the right side of the brain and right hand to left brain.
My headaches are always right side and as long as the KIP level is below 6 or 7, I can hold my left hand under warm/hot water and get some relief.
Warm showers help too.
Just another little distraction to go along with the dance. 8)
