Title: A simple techniques that works for me Post by ambrose on May 25th, 2002, 12:58pm I am in the seventh week of a series and have found the following to work for me: I generally get 10-15 minutes warning prior to an attack. I take ergotamine and wait ten minutes to give it time to get into my system. By itself, it fails to stop an attach. Ten minutes after taking the ergo, I then peform two yoga positions (forward lunge, on my toes-each side) for two minutes each. I think the exertion speeds up my heart rate and the delivery of the ergotamine. About 80% of the time, this stops the headache completely. I hope this helps someone else and I hope this series ends soon because I am FED UP!! |
