I had my long awaited visit with my pain management docter yesterday and am nothing but smiles this morning :) absolutely no pain at all not even a twitch no neck pain no hot spots on craddle no nothing.
he has starrted me on fentanyl 25mch transdermal system, it is a patch like a nicotine patch and it is working!!! i am also using a other drug with it to control nausea it is called metoclopramide have to take one 10mg pill every four hours ,I am in heaven today.
I had talked last week about looking into having my tri nerve cut and also talked tohim about this procedure in his opinion that is something that should never be considered . and is something that he would strongly discourage. this is the first time in a week that i am able to sit and write and read some of the messages on this board. i wish i could go to the convention and meet some of you . I again thank all of you for the support that you have given me and am able to most of the time put a face to the replies by going to the picture page.

Great to read you have found the combination necessary to avert the pain.
Glad to read that you have decided against the Mayo clinic trip.

Congrats Erik! It's always refreshing when reading about one of us clusterheads finding a way to be PF. Hope it lasts for a long, long time.
